Further to yesterday’s announcement of ATF tax cut to 1% from 25% in Delhi for flights heading to north east, expect more positives to the aviation sector in coming days
Aviation turbine fuel tax cut will also be applicable in the airports that are part of the regional connectivity scheme.
Aviation ministry is also mulling a reduction in service tax on flight tickets and decreasing the levy on airport charges and transaction charges.
The Aviation Ministry will soon announce the airports that fall under the scheme.
