Mr. Manoj Dalmia

Founder & Head of Business Strategy

Mr. Dalmia is strategic head of proficient, and closely drives and oversees key business decisions. His vast experience of 20 years in the broking industry and its nuances has helped him transform a half a dozen dedicated professionals into a full fledged Brokerage firm operating across all major exchanges in India. Proficient has been among the top three arbitraging firms in India.

Mr. Dalmia is a member of Board in Consultative Committee formed by MCX, Member of Capital Market Standing Committee in MCCI and was a Ex- Chairperson of CPAI, Eastern Region.

Welcome to Proficient!

I started my career working as an arbitrager to understand the various financial instruments, their market depths, and factors affecting each of them, and further exploring opportunities that were available to capitalize on. Realizing the depth of unexplored opportunity, I decided to take it to a professional level to provide advanced platform to all who could also benefit from the same.

Very quickly, I formed business verticals focusing on research, strategy development, technology enhancements, and risk management to maximize earning opportunities. I also then built a response team with individuals having ability to perceive and navigate the changes, leading to the formation of Proficient Group of companies delivering full-fledged broking services including automation of trades.

Now that you know my motivation, here are our goals:

1. Build the best wealth management company
2. Build a sustainable business model with the vision of growth for
all its stake holders
3. Act with integrity and commitment in everything we do

Mr. Om Prakash Dalmia

Co Founder

Mr. Om Prakash is the Co Founder of the Company with an industry experience spanning more than three decades. He is instrumental in making strategic decisions towards the betterment of the company.

Under his mentoring, the group has reached new milestones. He is extensively involved in various CSR and charitable activities of the organization towards the well being of society.

Mr. Abhijit Mandal

Head of Trading & Risk

Mr. Abhijit analyses and manages the risk associated with client’s trades. His expertise lies in monitoring the effectiveness of risk taking capability of the clients.

A Graduate from Calcutta University started his early career as a Field Engineer and moved on with his hard work and dedication to become the head of risk & trading at Proficient.
